When I first started this business, I worked out of a spare bedroom. I put a hollow door on two filing cabinets as my desk and had a fax machine. If I received a request by 11:00 am, I would go to the courthouse and get the results to my client by 5:00 pm. I wrote each invoice by hand, which I cannot believe now!

Eventually, everything became computerized, and I stopped going to the courthouse. My business grew, and I brought on other people as needed. While the industry has evolved, I still maintain the same work ethic and provide all my clients with quick, thorough service.  

On a personal note, I was born and raised in Raleigh. I’ve had rottweilers and cats for more than 25 years and volunteer with the Rottweiler Hearts Rescue when possible. The handsome fellow in the photo with me is Tripp – he’s a trip!
